2019 Steven T. Rosen Lectureship

Leonidas Platanias, MD, PhD, Director of the Lurie Cancer Center, and Kathleen Green, PhD, Associate Director for Basic Science Research, presented an award to Andrea McClatchey, PhD.

On April 18, the Lurie Cancer Center’s Basic Research Seminar hosted the Steven T. Rosen Lectureship, held to honor the scientific contributions of Lurie Cancer Center’s former director, Steven Rosen, MD. 

Andrea McClatchey, PhD, a professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School, was the seminar’s featured speaker. Her presentation, focused on the Nf2 tumor suppressor and its family members, was titled, “The Membrane: Cytoskeleton Interface in Development and Cancer.”
