Cancer-Focused Research
Our research group uses micro- and nanofabrication approaches to develop platform technologies in the field of cancer engineering. Currently, we are highly focused on using extracellular vesicles (EVs) in several projects, including surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy of EVs for label-free diagnostics and treatment monitoring, migrasome and matrix-bound vesicle-mimetic microdevices to elucidate their role in metastasis, and scalable production of EVs for therapeutic applications.
