Cancer-Focused Research
My research focuses on the application of informatics to the annotation and display of genomic information, and on the interface of genomics and informatics as it applies to the development of genomics informed personalized medicine. We are especially interested in using individual genetic variation to help identify patients at increased risk of adverse drug reactions, as well as their use in establishing appropriate dosing. Cancer is at the forefront of successful application of genomics to personalize treatment.
