Cancer-Focused Research
We study the mechanisms by which post-transcriptional modifications of RNA regulate mRNA processing, stability, and translation and how this interplay affects cell fate decisions in cancer. By integrating RNA biology, genomics, cell biology, and animal models, we aim to uncover novel mechanisms of gene expression regulation and their contributions to oncogenic processes as well as generate new tools and methods that can be harnessed for therapeutic means.
