Cancer-Focused Research
In particular, my lab is interested in deciphering molecular mechanisms of progesterone receptor (PR) action in endometrial cancer and breast cancer. As PR action is context dependent, its role in the breast and uterus is different. Thus, understanding ways to improve or inhibit progesterone action in the different tissues would lead to more effective strategies towards prevention and treatment of these hormone dependent cancers.
