Cancer-Focused Research
Dr. Lin is a hematologist and oncologist with a clinical focus on lymphoma, cellular therapies, and stem cell transplantation. He has extensive background in nanotechnology, biomaterials to bridge the gap between technological advancements and their use in clinical or personalized medicine with the goal of providing new treatment options for patients with hematologic malignancies. He received grant support from ASH and LRF for his nanotechnology work. He is also interested in developing early phase clinical trials with these novel treatment approaches, for which he has completed training with the ASH Clinical Research Training Institute. Furthermore, he is very interested in education and leadership. He is a mentor for the MSTP at NU and participates in outreach to encourage students in the Chicago area to go into the STEM field.
