2023 Cancer Survivors’ Celebration Walk & 5K
On Sunday, June 4, Lurie Cancer Center and Northwestern Medicine will welcome cancer survivors and supporters back to Grant Park for our 30th Annual Cancer Survivors’ Celebration Walk & 5K!
Held on National Cancer Survivors Day, the event is a one-of-kind opportunity for people who have faced or are facing cancer to connect as a community and celebrate milestones with the families, friends, physicians, scientists, and care providers who support them every step of the way.
The celebration is open to everyone whose life has been touched by cancer, regardless of where they were treated. Highlights include a non-competitive walk or chip-timed 5K race along Chicago’s lakefront, special 30th anniversary T-shirts, music and entertainment, inspiring speakers, activities for the family, and an opportunity to share a message on the Dedication Wall.
Watch this video to see why we can’t wait to walk, run and celebrate with you!
Advance registration is strongly encourage and available online through June 4. Note: Advance registration is required for the chip-timed 5K race. Walker registration will be available in Grant Park on event day, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
