Brain Tumor Support Group

After being diagnosed with a brain tumor, you may want to connect with others going through a similar situation. Our Brain Tumor Support Group is a networking group that allows patients, survivors, families and caregivers to learn more about brain tumors, share experiences and receive support. A variety of educational topics are presented throughout the year.

The group, facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker and advanced practice nurses from the Malnati Brain Tumor Institute of the Lurie Cancer Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, is free and open to all brain tumor patients, regardless of where they are treated. The group meets the third Monday evening of each month from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Locations within the hospital vary, so please call 312-926-5351 if you would like to attend.

Many people find that talking with others in a similar situation can help them manage stress and provide valuable insights. If you know of someone that would benefit from attending, please let them know we are here.
