Northwestern University's newly established Physical Sciences-Oncology Center (PS-OC) brings together physical scientists and cancer biologists to use non-traditional, physical sciences-based approaches to understand and control cancer. A joint effort between the Lurie Cancer Center and the Chemistry of Life Processes Institute, the PS-OC is one of only 12 established nationwide by the National Cancer Institute.
