Research Program
Cancer-Focused Research
The research objective of the Scott laboratory is to investigate the basic inflammatory and immunological processes contributing to diverse pathologies and develop targeted therapeutic approaches using engineeringand materials-based strategies. More specifically, they apply a unique skill set that bridges nanobiomaterials science and immunology towards the development of novel vaccine delivery systems, immunotherapies, and approaches to the treatment and basic understanding of cancer and immune dysregulation.
