Lurie Cancer Center: Supportive Oncology Education
Patients of Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University can visit our health educator on the 21st floor of Galter Pavilion (west side of waiting area), 251 E. Huron. Kimberly Fairman, MPH, provides personalized assistance to patients and families seeking information on diagnosis, treatment options, support groups, clinical trials, and offers appropriate referrals to other information sources. Computers are available for patient and family use. Kim is also involved with Lurie Cancer Center’s outreach initiatives and volunteer program oversight.
Assistance is available by walk-up and appointment, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Northwestern Memorial Hospital: Alberto Culver Health Learning Center
Located on the third floor of Galter Pavilion, 251 E. Huron, the Health Learning Center is a full-service library offering access to health educators, resources and information. All services are complimentary and walk-ins are welcome. Medical librarians are available to help you search for health information.
Public walk-in hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Health Learning Center staff is available by phone, email or appointment, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
