H Foundation Core Facility Pilot Project Award Recipients Announced

A generous donation from the H Foundation is providing ten investigators with awards for new, cancer-relevant pilot projects that require the use of Northwestern University’s Flow Cytometry Facility, Keck Biophysics Facility or Structural Biology Facility.  H Foundation funds will be provided directly to these facilities on behalf of the awardees.

  • The Flow Cytometry Facility provides cell sorting services and access to routine flow cytometry assays, such as immunophenotyping and DNA analysis, and guidance, technical assistance and equipment for the investigators to utilize more complex multi-parametric, multi-laser measurement and cell sorting in their research.
  • The Keck Biophysics Facility provides scientists with 24-hour access to a collection of advanced instruments for biophysical and biochemical characterization of macromolecules and their interactions.
  • The primary mission of the Structural Biology Facility is to provide state-of-the-art equipment, training, technical support and maintenance of equipment indispensable for structural biologists and other researchers studying the structures of biological macromolecules and materials. The facility also provides structure determination and data collection services, both for crystallography and cryoEM.
