The Lurie Cancer Center and Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute offered this free program for brain tumor patients and their families on Monday, October 17, 2016. Our experts discussed advances in brain tumor treatment, as well as skills and resources for managing the unique challenges faced by patients and caregivers. Brain tumor patients and caregivers learned about strategies to help them cope with a wide range of concerns. The program included opportunities to ask questions and meet other brain tumor patients and their families. The Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute hosted this free event, led by physicians and members of the Supportive Oncology team.
